lenore-karoline I actually love most tracks on this album, so it was rather hard to choose a favorite. It was a very fun collaborative experience- Micah would present me with a track and the feelings he had when he made it and I would write lyrics and a melody to go over it. Gerard's guitar was a great addition. I wish more people heard these songs. Favorite track: thank you (feat. Lenore Ettinger).

Holes (Amanda’s Song) There is death and depression and drugs Which grew holes inside my head They grew wide when he entered the room And deep when he left They grew in my mind in the recesses of dark Began small and enlarged as the days became years (Contributing on and on) There was a pinprick of guilt And a tear in my sole (From tripping all the time) There was a burn that smoldered And yet another hole (remained) The ones given to me by others The ones I gave myself But every hole makes a whole person Every end has a beginning They won’t go away, the holes in my brain And I wouldn’t wish them away at all (It’s the more you know)
2.
Cloud of Dust Opinions clash Rising frustration Tempers crash Heated confrontation In lightning flash Then sudden cessation It’s still there The anger in the air In this calm I wait And silently contemplate: I don’t’ know where to go Between mushroom clouds and desert dulls I don’t know whom to trust I can’t see through this cloud of dust (I can’t hear you through this pain I can’t see you ‘til it rains)
3.
Duality Did you know there are two of me? One on the inside and the other that you see. Did you know I’ve a split point of view? Outwardly smiling, inner me hates you. Did you know there are two of me? One on the outside and the other you don’t see. Did you know that my mind is split? One can’t stand the beat while the other one gets hit. Did you know, did you know you can’t hold me? The outside’s trapped but the inner one is free. Did you know? Did you know? Did you know? Did you know? Did you know you can’t hold me? The outside’s trapped, but inside I am free. Outwardly, I nod and act abject, But inner me demands respect! Inner me knows that something is not right, Inner me urges outer me to fight! Did you know there are two of me? One that wants to fight and the other that’s to weak. Did you know there are two of me? One that’s been buried and the other that you meet. I think you know that what you do is wrong The inside can only stay buried for so long

Puppeteer marionette you think you’ve wings but I’m the one that pulls your strings things are not as they appear I’m your master…the puppeteer Whether you dance or sleep or kill You act only by my will I will make you dance Knock you off balance I’m the one in control I will make you dance Set you in a trance I’ve a hold of your soul Your mind only what my finger records Open your mouth to speak my words …I will make you dance Poppet in my hands you’re clay You’ve no choice but to obey …I will make you dance

Thank You Words and cruel intensions Weaving shadows through my mind Spark unforeseen perceptions To which I was not before inclined I always try to keep my calm And act in ways that evoke respect But you words are causing me qualms and now that calm is wrecked Thank you very much for being a bitch All of your input has really helped Our lives have truly been enriched By your obsession with yourself Thank you very much for causing me pain It helps to make me stronger every day Thank you for never using your brain It makes you so much easier to hate Thank you very much for being a bitch You make me want to act in ways I don’t condone You make me want to smack you across the face When you sit in judgment like some king upon a throne Then act like you’ve just helped those you debased Words and cruel intensions Weaving shadows through my mind Spark unforeseen perceptions The homicidal kind
6.
The Reaper I am the end I am your end I am the darkness in the night I am what makes you chill with fright I am the haunting in your dream I am the silence after the scream Sometimes I leap, sometimes I creep Sometimes I take you in your sleep This in the end (of the road) I am the end (of your life) This is the end! I am the end I am your end I am the visitor of all I come for old, I come for small I come for young, I come for strong I am not right, nor am I wrong There’s no retreat from when we meet I greet your heart at its last beat This is the end (of the road) I am the end (of your life) (Sometimes I leap, sometimes I creep Sometimes I take you in your sleep I am the reaper, I am the reaper) This is the end (of the road) I am the end (of your life)

Assumption, that all this fear is useless, Illusion, the pain, itself a vice Aggression, I wore it like a badge, Subversion, an ignorance to squander, Delusion, was I given a choice Regression, of everything I had I fight this war against my apathy, my animosity, it struggles trying to escape this hood of man, I reach my limit, stretch my talons, seek the boundaries from whence I suffer, change the definition, precisely of where I stand, I burn the light (in darkness, darkness, darkness) I burn the light (in darkness, darkness, darkness) I burn the light a past that tempts of mercy, copacetic, lined in bitter memory, the evil you're used to, or demons unknown I count the blessings, count the curses, count the limitless potential, I burn the light wax poetic, debase the values built upon by greed and the want to take control, and watch these temples fall shrine to power, to corruption, to the holiest of holy rollers, built to stifle the choice of will (then the chorus again): I fight this war against my apathy, my animosity, it struggles trying to escape this hood of man, I reach my limit, stretch my talons, seek the boundaries from whence I suffer, change the definition, precisely of where I stand, I burn the light (in darkness, darkness, darkness-)
